Our laboratory focuses on fundamental research in polymer chemistry, aiming to develop novel functional polymers and innovative polymer synthesis methodologies.

   Our research topics include the synthesis of polymers incorporating bismuth, the heaviest stable element, the construction of reactive π-conjugated polymers via organic electrochemical reactions, and the synthesis of poly(carbon sulfide) and its fundamental properties related to lithium-ion battery materials.
